Garryana Oak, or Oregon White Oak, grows in the Pacific Northwest’s Willamette Valley and is prized for strength and scarcity. Harvested only from fallen trees and sanctioned cuts, its dense grain slows oxidation and evaporation, imparting clove and nutmeg notes closer to French Oak.Cascadia blends three bourbons aged 9 and 10 years, which were then rested for 10 months in 10 custom Garryana barrels. Each barrel was custom-made and hand-toasted for three hours by Oregon Barrel Works to unlock additional layers of spice and complexity. Summer aging on the 6th floor was chosen for maximum extraction, and the whiskey was then gradually proofed before bottling.
