Rye Earns Top Honors in Los Angeles

Big news from Los Angeles.

Bardstown Rye has been named Best Whiskey Overall at the L.A. Spirits Awards, alongside Best Rye Whiskey and a Platinum Medal for taste.

Bardstown Bourbon also earned a Platinum Medal, underscoring the quality across the portfolio. Judged blind, these awards reflect one thing: what’s in the glass.

What sets this Rye apart is how it was made. Finished in a pioneering hybrid cherry barrel, it represents a new approach to American whiskey—one that blends tradition with bold experimentation and a willingness to take risks, because sometimes it pays off.

This recognition is proof of that.

There’s nowhere we won’t go to push the boundaries of bourbon and rye whiskey.
