ingredients
2 oz Bardstown Bourbon Co. Fusion
1 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz rich demerara syrup 2 dashes of Angostura bitters
Optional egg white*
1 oz fresh lemon juice

method
Combine all ingredients in a shaker tin. Fill shaker tin with ice and shake until outside is cold, approximately 10-12 seconds. Double strain into coupe glass and serve.

Separate egg white into a shaker tin and discard the shell and yolk. Add ingredients and before adding ice, shake any cocktails without ice to emulsify the egg proteins and achieve an airy texture like a meringue. Add ice then shake again until outside is cold, approximately 10-12 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass and serve. Consuming raw eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness.
