Explore the single barrel pick process from start to finish without the obligation of purchasing an entire barrel of bourbon.
Instead of compromising to please the group, enjoy the freedom to narrow these choices down with only your pallet in mind. Rather than waiting months for your selection to be bottled, you will have the opportunity to leave with your own highly sought-after bottle that same day.
Discover how each barrel provides a unique environment for flavor creation and how charring barrels unlocks chemical compounds contained in the wood, producing a molecular dance of esters and phenols to shape every sip. Guided by our Executive Bourbon Stewards, you’ll analyze the flavor profiles and unique characteristics from three distinct Four-Grain Single Barrels only available through this experience.

“Behind the Blend” is a series of in-person experiences led by Master Blender Dan Callaway that uncover the inspiration, blending philosophy, barrel selection, and maturation techniques behind Bardstown Bourbon Company’s most distinctive releases.
More than a traditional tasting, each session offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the people responsible for bringing each whiskey exploration to life. Guests will also enjoy thoughtfully paired culinary bites prepared by our award-winning kitchen.
